Viant provides healthcare payment solutions to commercial and public health insurance sectors in the United States. It offers primary and complementary network services, network and contract management services, such as automated claims repricing and provider data management, and pre-payment services, such as facility bill review and professional negotiation. Does Viant Cover Addiction Treatment and Substance Abuse Treatment?

Viant, along with Multiplan, does cover addiction treatment services. With 900,000 healthcare providers under contract, members have the option of both in-network and out-of-network providers. The coverage you have for addiction treatment is uniquely written by your primary insurance carrier and/or employer. This is done to ensure you have the best treatment options at appropriate costs to both the payer and the member.

Insurance and Rehab Costs

If you’re worried about how you’re going to pay for addiction treatment coverage, know that the Affordable Care Act made it mandatory for insurance companies to provide coverage for alcohol addiction treatment services, so you might be eligible. This includes Medicaid, Medicare, private coverage, military insurance, and state health insurance. It will be very important that you know the terms in your policy, however. Some policies will only cover 30 days of inpatient treatment. Additionally, a health insurance marketplace might be a good place to begin if you need health insurance coverage for addiction treatment.
