Does Assurant Health Insurance Cover Rehab?

Assurant Health Insurance provides a savings like account to be used for medical expenses such as an alcohol rehab. This program allows member to earn interest on money deposited. Those with Assurant Health Insurance require a coinsurance to help offset or completely cover codependency rehabilitation costs.

Members pay a $200 deductible for outpatient medical services. Assurant Insurance will pay up to 80% of the covered charges up to $500 per calendar year, the member pays 20% of the covered charges. Non Surgical and non facility inpatient services are not considered under the inpatient per day maximum,requiring coinsurance. Pre-existing conditions are only covered  when member has been continuously insured under this plan for 12 months. Alcohol rehab coverage would fit under one of these categories, to determine which contact your members services center via email or phone.

Assurant Health Plans provide limited benefits with calendar year maximums. Each plan is different and the amount of benefits you will receive depends on the plan you select, as well as the premium will vary with the amount of benefits.
